To Be or Not to Be – President of the United States

Who wants to be President of the United States in their right mind? As someone who is disappointed with our selection of a president, I have often heard it said: “. Who wants to be president probably should not be president,” It is my experience that all that much (or more) the position of their company , municipal or state usually has a personal reason. Perhaps there is more money than the next guy to make, or an ax to grind, you have something special, a program of some kind of radical changes it into her head, the better life for all, because they are better than we all know what we all need. And no, I do not personally know all the politicians who were not “burned” by all. I live 55 years on this earth and saw a number of things. And you must not get me started on the college choice.

Here are my thoughts on the issue of election of a President of the United States. We should (do not call it a committee and no, I do not want to appoint a committee to select the Panel) convened a group chooses a president based on qualification. Well, I have to admit that someone (perhaps the entire population of the United States) will have to decide what qualifications must be met to be chosen president. Some things to consider in any particular case, may be funded, how well they work under pressure, how is it to stay good at all times of stress situations in the past, healthy, they made good decisions in situations difficult, they are really a team player, she tolerant of others and other ideas, they can admit they are wrong? I am sure that if there are a few ideas, you can add additional qualifications to the list.

Then there is the issue of eligibility. Currently, you have a natural born citizen of the United States, at least 35 years and 14 years are elected domicile in the United States of America as President. My husband, fortunately, not the desire to be president, was born in Germany. His family came to the U.S. when he was eight years old. It is now 55 years old. It is not a German accent, spent most of his schooling in the United States, the American in every respect, but never become president. He is kind, tolerant and wise for his age, has a genuine desire to help and, in my opinion, has the potential to be a good president. My point is that by banning born in other countries, we can be next to some really good president.

Optional should be the criteria: 1) a potential president must be at least 35 years. Presumably we have acquired a minimum of wisdom now. 2) A potential president must have lived in the United States for at least 35 consecutive years. In this way a person other than the American citizenship have so long lived as a naturally born 35-year-old.

Then there is the issue of presidential term. Given that the president no choice in the matter in order to be president (remember what I / he wants to be, should not be said) have the term should probably not be too long, perhaps only two or three years. Sun, the shorter the duration, the less time wasted, if the candidate presents himself to be a bad choice. The successful candidate must have guarantees that whatever work they perform when they are elected to be president, she will always be available at the end of their term if they so wish. I’m sure there are other provisions, with the need that would allow someone in the office of the President would be enrolled with grace.
